Moonlighting Opportunities

Interns have the opportunity to moonlight performing preparticipation sports physicals for area schools.

Moonlighting by second- and third-year residents is offered but not required.  An exclusive moonlighting contract has been established with the Self Regional Healthcare Emergency Care Center which provides valuable experience in orthopedic, minor trauma, and acute medical and pediatric care.

Second and third year residents also have the option of taking pager call for the Montgomery Center for Family Medicine Hospitalist service for additional moonlighting pay.  These moonlighting residents answer calls on admitted patients and complete admission history and physical exams for local private practices that do not admit to the hospital.
